Use Fabric Structures To Customize your Trade Show Booth

By dexter

Lately more and more exhibitors are adding fabric structures to their booth. The main reason for this is due to the high cost of shipping and drayage (the cost to move your trade show booth from the convention dock to your booth location and back to the dock for the ship out ) Shipping and drayage are both based on weight and size . Keeping both down will result in lower cost to get to the convention hall.

We now know that fabric structures can provide a great deal of cost savings. The main areas that cost can be saves is as follows: Labor to set up and dismantle the structure is now kept to minium as oppose to setting up large and heavy items we now need less laborers. The other cost saving are in shipping. We know that shipping cost have gone up due to the high cost of gas. Therefore cut your weight and size of shipping crates and items and your shipping cost drops. Fabric structures are light weight and take up less room to ship.

There are some cons in using the typical fabric system. The system which consists of fabric stretched over and aluminum frame typically gets dirty during handling and set up. The fabric has a tendency to tear over stress, resulting in a short life span. Along comes the solution the Dela fabric system. This system comes in standard sizes and do set up in minutes. The panels are made of light weight aluminum and are in standard panel sizes. Shipping is much more cost efficient that the typical older structural exhibit panels. The set up now takes minutes as oppose to snapping frames together the frame comes assembles and are easily linked to form various structure walls. You can ship approximately 16 panels per standard wood crate. One person can handle a typical 4x8 wall structure

The typical fabric structure usually zips on around an aluminum frame, from my experiance the fabric usually tear after a few time out. The structures are not usually very structural. In this case you trade out the weight etc for strength. The Delta Fabric provide the strength of a traditional panel system, the ease of setting up and the ability to use extremely large fabric inserts graphics, this a win win situation The ?Delta Fabric? system is a modular, graphic presentation system that combines lightweight aluminum frames and graphic messaging in a choice of sizes and display options. The aluminum frames and columns can be ordered in custom sizes to fit display needs. The frames assemble with an Allen key, and feature a variety of optional connections that allow frames to connect to other aluminum systems.

Large and wrinkle free graphic can be achieved with the Delta Fabric system. You may reuse and redo graphic as you need. There are no limits to the use of this system. To learn more about the Delta Fabric system please contact http://www.eldsusa.com
