Your Comfort Zone is the Enemy of Your Success

By Alan Edmunds

We all have a comfort zone. There are things that we are very comfortable doing and these are usually things that we do well. We are confident in our ability to bring tasks that fall into our comfort zone to a successful conclusion.

Maybe affiliate marketing is your thing. Maybe you're very good at it. You may even be making a very good income from it, but are you sure that you are doing the best you can? Could you earn more by learning about marketing using a different method?

Perhaps you could earn much more by learning the art of public relations and applying that to your existing business model. Of course this may be outside your comfort zone so you're going to have to grow a little.

If you have never used Google Adwords and done a promotional campaign, the very idea might make you a little hesitant but you can't be afraid to try new things if you are ever going to be really successful at internet marketing.

The secret is to reduce your risk by educating yourself about the new method you intend to try. The more you know, the better quality decisions you are able to make and therefore the less risk you ultimately expose yourself to.

Maybe you have never written (or had written for you) articles and E-Books that relate to the products or services that you promote on your website and submitted them to article banks and E-Book repositories.

Do you feel that this is outside your comfort zone? Yes? There are ways to ease the growth process. If you aren't a very good writer, or if English isn't your first language then you can hire a ghost writer to write your products for you.

A Blog might increase traffic on your website but you may be hesitant about adding one just because it is a new idea for you.

Quit hesitating and get busy. You can enlarge your comfort zone as well as your income by learning new techniques to help you be really successful at internet marketing.
