Blog Posting Tutorial

By Don Bethune

Blog Posting. Your level of writing talent does not matter nearly as much as easily learned techniques when it comes to blog posting. This tutorial will help you write interesting postings that attract just the type of readers you desire and keep them coming back on a daily basis.

The first thing to remember is to be aware of the audience you want to attract to your web page. For example, if you are trying to gain traffic from parents, keep in mind their interests when writing your blog posts. Your target audience should, to a large extent, dictate your writing topic and style.

What you write must keep your current readers satisfied and entice new readers to your site. What is going on in the news today and how does it impact your readers? Choose subjects your readers care about and package the ideas in ways tuned to your readers needs.

Another factor to remember is to make sure your blog post has a purpose. Do you want to inform readers? Is your blog for entertainment or enlightenment? Does your blog post need to have a serious or humorous tone? This will set the stage for your perfect blog post and ensure that readers are aware of your purpose.

Blog Post Writing. Size matters and bloggers are often too wordy. Keep your postings short and to the point. The longer your posting the greater the risk readers will simply skip it and lose interest in your site. Write entries in a readable length. You want to keep readers on your site and entise them to return every day.

The key to a good blog posting is key words. The more you postings are sprinkled with key words the larger your audience will be. Website monitoring and other tools can help you determine what keywords have attracted readers to your site. And these tools can help discover new keywords that will increase the size of your readership. It is important to evenly distribute keywords throughout your postings and ensure the article reads smoothly and that the keywords fit naturally.

Finally, keep your blog post unique. No one wants to read something that they have already read on another site. If you have read an article that had some great ideas in it, try to put your own spin on those ideas. Keep your content fresh and unique.

How to write the perfect blog post. Write with purpose, be aware of your audience, and keep your posts interesting. Remember that your blog posts should be short, unique, and keyword rich. If you keep these factors in mind, you can write the perfect blog post.
