Classifieds vs video classifieds

By Jamal Markks

With all of the popularity of advertising, it is no surprise that something bigger and better has come along. Although some major classified ad sites, such as Craigslist, have refused to add on video ads, other websites are greatly benefiting from its widespread success.

Video brings a new dimension to buyers. Now a buyer can see the product or hear about the service directly form the seller in a video presentation. The seller can more accurately describe their item or service for sale. They can include details that you can't see in a picture or description.

So, if a car is what is being sold, the seller can tape the inside and outside of the car. It provides a three-dimensional, realistic view of a product. The seller can even say something like, As you can see, there are no scratches on the paint of the car. The interior is clean and well-taken care of, while he zooms the camera on the paint and then on the interior of the car.

The advantages with video are endless. Not only can the seller now show all angles of their product but, the buyer can see and hear the product befor buying. Why waste time going to look at something in person till you have a good idea it is what you really want.

Video is selling a lot more items per ad than regular classifieds because now buyes can see and hear these product and services. The buyer also feels that they are less likely to be scammed by the seller when they can view a video. In all, video classified ads are the new way to advertise your product or service. Next time you have something to sell try free video classifieds.
