Simplify Your eBay Business With Dropshipping

If your dream is to make a full time living from your eBay business, it's quite possible to make that dream come true. You don't even need a product to sell. Many people have started their own businesses based on eBay, without needing a lot of start-up capital. Drop shippers make it possible to offer a wide selection of stock in your eBay store, without the need to carry inventory.

All you need to do is create an auction and sell the product. You pass the customer's details on to the drop shipper. The drop shipping company packages, labels, and ships the product on your behalf. They'll even use your company logo and information. The customer has no idea that you didn't send the product yourself.

You'll need to build a relationship with more than one drop shipping company if you want to be successful. Most companies require that you start off paying for your customer's orders before they are shipped. For the fastest service, it's best to pay for the products with a credit card. Once you have established a solid business relationship, your drop shipper will fulfill your orders and bill you for them later.

Be sure when you set up your eBay auctions that your reserve price is more than your cost from the drop shipper. Obviously, you need to earn a profit. A markup of aroud 10% should work, but it depends on the item you're selling. Do some research to find out the selling prioce for similar items in other auctions, and on other sites.

Once you have established a relationship with your drop shipper, there is basically no financial risk. You sell the product before you pay the drop shipper.
